Brief Biography: I graduated with a Masters in Biomedical Engineering (BME) (April 2007) and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering (ME) (Aprill 2006) both from the University of Michigan and am now working for a biomedical device company in Minneapolis called Medtronic. At the end of my junior year as an undergraduate I started doing research with ME/BME Professor Art Kuo focusing on the energetic costs of walking and enrolled in the Simultaneous Graduate Undergraduate Studies (SGUS) program with the BME deparetment. At Medtronic I currently work in the Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management division designing and building test systems for use in research and development. My interests are in experimental design, statistics, mechanical design, orthotics, prosthetics and biomedical/surgical instrumentation design, alternative energy and sustainability. I also love traveling, sailing, photography, cycling, reading, and anything that ends up being an adventure. I play guitar poorly and doing an even worse job of singing.
